📋 Description
- • The Manager, RFP Process role at Scholastic Inc. is critical to securing new business by leading the creation of competitive bids for Scholastic Education products and services, directly impacting revenue growth and market expansion in the K-12 education sector.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include writing RFP content such as narratives, alignment charts, and bid boilerplates; organizing bid responses; maintaining RFP electronic folders with product information, pricing, and correlations; creating review grids and checklists; facilitating stakeholder calls; and developing bid response templates to ensure timely, accurate submissions.
- • The RFP team operates within Scholastic’s Sales division, supporting the Education Division’s bid lifecycle with cross-functional collaboration, and contributes to the company’s mission of advancing literacy and learning through high-quality educational resources.
- • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in educational bid writing, gain deep knowledge of Scholastic’s K-6 product portfolio, strengthen project management and stakeholder coordination skills, and become a key contributor to operational efficiency and win-rate improvement in a mission-driven organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree
- • 5-8 years of experience in technical or grant writing
- • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- • Strong attention to detail and writing accuracy
- • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet competing deadlines
- • Education industry or teacher experience highly preferred
