- • The Manager, Sales Engineering role at SailPoint Technologies is critical to driving business growth by leading and developing a high-performing Solution Engineering team in the A/NZ region. This position ensures technical expertise is effectively communicated to prospective customers, directly influencing sales outcomes and market adoption of SailPoint’s AI-driven identity governance platform.
- • Day to day, the manager will hire, coach, and oversee Solution Engineers; manage individual and team performance; collaborate with Regional Sales Directors on account planning and strategy; refine sales methodologies and product demonstrations; assess training gaps and implement skill development programs; and provide feedback to product, marketing, and corporate teams based on field insights.

Success is measured by team performance, customer engagement quality, and contribution to regional revenue goals over a 12-month onboarding and ramp-up period.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience as a sales engineering manager
- • 5+ years of experience as a sales engineer
- • Excellent communication skills with technical and business audiences
- • Understanding of identity security solutions, market dynamics, and best practices
- • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience (preferred, not required)
