📋 Description

• • Own the end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) cycle for NTT DATA’s APAC operations, ensuring that every journal entry, inter-company elimination, fixed-asset posting and consolidation adjustment is accurate, audit-ready and delivered ahead of tight statutory deadlines.
• • Orchestrate month-end, quarter-end and year-end close for multiple legal entities across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand, producing consolidated accounting packs that give senior leaders a clear, real-time view of financial performance and emerging risks.
• • Lead, coach and inspire a high-performing accounting team—distributed across time zones—by setting crisp objectives, modelling a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement, and removing roadblocks so that every team member can deliver their best work.
• • Partner with FP&A, Tax and Treasury to translate close data into forward-looking insight: explain variances, validate forecast assumptions and surface opportunities for margin expansion, cash-flow optimisation and working-capital release.
• • Drive automation and process-reengineering initiatives that cut manual effort, reduce error rates and free your team for higher-value analysis; champion the rollout of SAP enhancements, RPA bots and dashboarding tools that turn data into decision-ready intelligence.
• • Act as the primary liaison with Big-4 auditors and local regulators, ensuring statutory audits run smoothly, findings are remediated quickly and group-reporting deadlines are met without last-minute fire drills.
• • Present concise, story-driven recommendations to the APAC CFO and global finance leadership on short-term working-capital levers and long-term accounting policy changes that keep NTT DATA at the forefront of compliance and commercial agility.
• • Safeguard the integrity of our balance sheet through rigorous reconciliation governance, proactive risk assessment and airtight internal controls that protect against fraud, misstatement and reputational damage.
• • Translate complex IFRS, local GAAP and tax requirements into practical playbooks that empower country controllers to execute consistently and confidently, no matter how quickly regulations evolve.
