• • Airwallex is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager/Senior Manager, Financial Partnerships, focusing on Local Payment Methods (LPMs) across the APAC region. This pivotal role is instrumental in expanding and strengthening Airwallex’s global partner ecosystem, driving the development of our LPM infrastructure, and managing critical strategic relationships with financial institutions and payment partners. You will be at the forefront of shaping Airwallex's payment capabilities in one of the world's most vibrant and rapidly evolving markets, contributing directly to the company's mission of building the global payments and financial platform of the future.
• • In this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the LPM partnership strategy for the APAC region, encompassing Greater China, South Korea, and Southeast Asia, to align with and propel Airwallex’s ambitious global growth objectives. A core part of your day-to-day will involve owning and nurturing our most strategic partner relationships, acting as the primary point of contact, and fostering strong, collaborative partnerships that ensure commercial success and mutual benefit. You will conduct in-depth market and competitive analysis to ensure Airwallex consistently maintains a leadership position in the global payments landscape, identifying emerging trends and opportunities. A significant responsibility will be to identify, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard new partners, meticulously managing the commercial and legal contracting process for a diverse range of local payment methods, schemes, and bank transfer solutions. Furthermore, you will actively manage ongoing partner relationships and drive commercial growth, while proactively identifying and resolving complex operational escalations related to merchant onboarding, compliance adherence, and transaction stability, ensuring seamless operations for our clients. You will also establish yourself as a recognized industry thought leader, representing Airwallex with confidence and expertise in partner meetings, key industry events, and relevant forums, thereby enhancing Airwallex's brand and influence.
