📋 Description

• Manager, Software Engineering role at ButterflyMX Inc. focused on leading engineering teams to build world-class products for property access, operations, and security automation.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include partnering with Product and Design to define goals, evolving Agile processes, mentoring engineers, ensuring high-quality releases, managing performance, recruiting talent, and aligning engineering work with company objectives.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional development experience
• 3+ years of managerial experience including goal setting, performance management, and resource management
• 4+ years of professional development experience in TypeScript and JavaScript
• Strong experience with automated CI/CD pipelines and advocating for Agile environments
• Hands-on experience in distributed/cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Docker, EC2/ECS, Lambdas) within service-oriented architecture
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, Docker, and managing security for Linux/AWS/Docker environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with business and technical teams
• Experience with GraphQL, computer vision applications, IoT development, and deep understanding of testing, security, reliability, and scalability
