- • Manager, Solution Engineering - India role at SailPoint Technologies Holdings, Inc. is critical to growing the business by building and leading a high-performing team of Solution Engineers who demonstrate and communicate the value of SailPoint’s identity security products to prospective customers.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include hiring, coaching, and driving the Solution Engineering team to meet goals; managing individual and team performance; demonstrating analytical and problem-solving skills with strong management consulting abilities; improving sales methodology and processes by developing tailored product presentations and demonstrations; assessing training gaps and implementing programs to enhance sales, product, and technology skills; collaborating with Regional Sales directors on account planning, strategy, and sales call activity; providing timely input to field sales, product management, and marketing; and managing relationships with internal and external product teams and decision makers.

- • In this role, the person will learn to lead and scale a technical sales team in a high-growth cybersecurity environment, deepen expertise in identity governance markets, influence cross-functional strategy, and achieve sales targets while fostering team trust and partnership with sales leaders over a 1-year path to success.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience as a sales engineering manager
- • 5+ years of experience as a sales engineer
- • Excellent communication skills with experience speaking to both technical and business audiences
- • Strong understanding of the Identity Security market, solutions, market dynamics, and best practices
- • Preferred: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience
