- • Lead design strategy and execution for Seller Experiences on the TCGplayer platform, transforming ambiguous challenges into clear, actionable UX direction.
- • Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, and business leaders to define priorities and deliver user-centered solutions that improve seller outcomes and align with business goals.
- • Elevate design quality by guiding work from early concepts through wireframes, prototypes, and final specifications, ensuring alignment with design systems and high-quality standards.
- • Coach, mentor, and develop a team of UX designers through regular feedback, clear expectations, and a culture of high performance and continuous growth.
- • Use customer research, usability testing, and data-driven experimentation to validate design decisions, influence product strategy, and build organizational alignment.
- • Build deep expertise in the seller ecosystem, marketplace dynamics, and eCommerce landscape, sharing insights that drive innovation and inspire the design team.
- • Define and drive a long-term design vision while balancing short-term delivery needs and platform scalability across complex product environments.
- • Implement and optimize cross-functional processes that enhance operational efficiency, strengthen partnerships, and improve the consistency and quality of delivered experiences.
- • Demonstrate mastery of design systems, accessibility standards, and UX best practices for both web and mobile platforms.
- • Communicate design rationale, strategic recommendations, and research findings effectively to senior leaders and executives through compelling storytelling and stakeholder management.
- • Foster a team culture rooted in camaraderie, diversity, curiosity, and passion for crafting accessible, fun, and rewarding experiences for hobbyist communities.
- • Champion user-centered design principles while navigating ambiguity, technical constraints, and evolving business objectives in a fast-paced, global marketplace.
- • Maintain a strong portfolio showcasing excellence in user-centered design, systems thinking, and end-to-end product development with measurable business and customer impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience in UX, Product, or Experience Design, including leading teams and delivering impactful customer and business outcomes in complex product environments.
- • 3+ years of people management experience, including hiring, coaching, developing, and retaining high-performing design teams.
- • Proven ability to define and drive design strategy across large product areas, translating customer needs, business objectives, and technical constraints into a clear vision and roadmap.
- • Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in user-centered design, systems thinking, and end-to-end product development with measurable impact.
- • Demonstrated success building strong cross-functional partnerships with Product, Engineering, Research, Content Design, and business partners to align teams around shared outcomes.
- • Deep understanding of design systems, accessibility, and UX standards across web and mobile experiences.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Base pay range of $127,600 - $214,700.
- • Eligibility for target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable).
