• • Riveron Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager – Valuation Services to join our dynamic team in India, supporting our U.S. client base. This pivotal role is designed for an experienced professional who thrives in a challenging, client-facing environment and possesses a robust technical understanding of valuation principles. You will be instrumental in leading and executing a wide array of valuation engagements, contributing directly to the financial and strategic success of our clients.
• • As a Manager, you will operate as a key engagement leader, working in close collaboration with Associate Directors and Directors. Your responsibilities will encompass end-to-end oversight of valuation projects, from initial scoping and meticulous planning through to rigorous execution, comprehensive review, and the final delivery of client-ready reports. You will also play a crucial role in managing and mentoring Valuation Senior Associates, fostering their technical and professional development, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy in all deliverables.
• • The core of your work will involve managing and executing complex valuation engagements. These will span a broad spectrum, including the valuation of entire business enterprises, critical intangible assets, and various equity instruments such as shares of common stock. You will be expected to apply a diverse toolkit of valuation methodologies, including but not limited to Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) analysis, sophisticated intangible asset models, option-pricing models, market-based approaches, transaction-based analyses, and other relevant quantitative and qualitative techniques. This breadth of application ensures you are equipped to handle any valuation challenge.
• • Your expertise will be crucial for a variety of client needs. You will prepare valuations for critical business events such as business combinations (purchase price allocations), goodwill and other intangible asset impairment testing, specialized tax valuations, bankruptcy and restructuring scenarios, and strategic planning initiatives. Each of these requires a nuanced understanding of both valuation theory and practical application within U.S. regulatory and accounting frameworks.
• • A significant aspect of this role involves driving the development of robust valuation models, conducting in-depth analyses, and crafting clear, concise narrative reports. You will be responsible for ensuring the technical accuracy of these outputs and their strict adherence to Riveron’s rigorous firm-wide quality standards. This includes meticulous review processes and a commitment to delivering exceptional work product.
• • Proactive problem-solving is key. You will be expected to identify and effectively resolve engagement issues and potential risks, escalating complex matters to project leaders and Directors as appropriate. This requires keen analytical skills, sound professional judgment, and the ability to anticipate challenges before they impact project timelines or client satisfaction.
• • Collaboration is at the heart of Riveron’s culture. You will work closely with Managing Directors and Directors on developing engagement strategies, defining realistic timelines, and managing client relationships. Building and maintaining strong client trust through consistent delivery of high-quality work and clear communication is paramount.
• • In addition to client-facing responsibilities, you will provide day-to-day oversight and guidance to Valuation Senior Associates. This includes supporting their technical skill development, coaching them on project management, and fostering their career growth within the firm. Your leadership will directly impact the capabilities and performance of the valuation team.
• • You will also contribute to the broader operational efficiency of the team by assisting with engagement staffing, managing workloads across multiple concurrent projects, and ensuring optimal resource allocation. This requires a strategic approach to project management and a deep understanding of team capacity.
