• • The Managing Consultant – Clinical Performance Improvement (Perioperative Services) role at BRG Communications LLC is a senior-level consulting position focused on driving measurable improvements in healthcare delivery, specifically within perioperative services such as operating rooms, PACU, ambulatory surgery, and related procedural departments. This role is critical to helping healthcare providers enhance clinical quality, reduce complications and mortality, optimize surgical throughput, and improve operational efficiency through evidence-based practices and data-driven strategies.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include serving as an engagement director for small projects within the consultant’s area of expertise, supporting or acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in clinical performance improvement workstreams, developing project plans and client deliverables, leading performance improvement teams, creating client-facing materials such as slide decks and reports, independently meeting with clients and executives to advance project goals, mentoring and coaching junior staff, submitting timely expense reports and time entries, contributing to firm-wide initiatives through task forces and work teams, maintaining professional licensure and certifications, developing thought leadership via white papers, presentations, and case studies, and being willing to travel up to 80% of the time based on project needs.
