- • Contribute to creative problem-solving to drive client outcomes in infrastructure resilience, climate adaptation, and grid modernization.
- • Perform detailed fact-finding, research, and analysis on energy-related activities including climate resilience, sustainability, grid modernization, renewable energy, and customer programs.
- • Understand and utilize public and private sources of downscaled climate data, downloading and isolating data to client assets using methods such as nearest neighbor analysis.
- • Conduct statistical and economic analyses using Excel, R, and Python to support client deliverables.
- • Prepare workshop and meeting materials, attend client sessions, and summarize key outcomes and decisions.
- • Develop comprehensive reports, presentations, and documentation for client-facing deliverables.
- • Present analytical findings and project results to clients in a clear, compelling manner tailored to their needs.
- • Work collaboratively as part of cross-functional project teams while also managing independent tasks as required.
- • Lead technical workstreams on projects, including supervision and guidance of junior analysts.
- • Maintain exceptional attention to detail across all academic and professional work products.
- • Demonstrate strong client service orientation with a focus on building and sustaining trusted advisory relationships.
- • Utilize superior interpersonal skills to effectively engage with both internal colleagues and external client staff.
- • Manage multiple concurrent tasks, prioritize work activities, and consistently meet project deadlines.
- • Apply highly developed organizational and management skills to ensure project efficiency and quality.
- • Travel up to 25% to support client engagements, workshops, and site visits as needed.
- • Maintain a strong interest in business strategy, energy efficiency, and sustainability initiatives.
- • Exhibit an inquisitive nature and commitment to continuous learning and professional improvement.
- • Visualize data effectively, synthesize complex insights, and tell compelling stories with data to influence client decisions.
- • Create and refine models in Excel and/or leverage programming languages such as R or Python for analytical tasks.
- • Explore underlying causes of observed trends and results to deliver deeper, actionable insights.
🎯 Requirements
- • Must be a U.S. Permanent Resident or U.S. Citizen
- • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant industry or consulting experience excluding internships, co-ops, graduate research, or fellowships
- • Relevant experience in climate resilience and adaptation, grid modernization, and sustainability or closely related fields
- • Demonstrated ability to lead project technical workstreams and manage junior analysts
- • Proficiency in data analytics using Excel, R, and Python
