📋 Description

  • As a Managing Consultant in BRG’s Revenue Cycle (Revenue Integrity) practice, you will lead high-impact engagements that directly improve financial performance for healthcare providers by identifying revenue leakage, optimizing charge capture, and strengthening compliance—playing a critical role in helping hospitals and health systems achieve sustainable margin improvement in an increasingly complex regulatory and reimbursement landscape.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing charge generation and charge capture workflows to identify revenue leakage and compliance risks; reviewing and drafting Revenue Integrity policies and procedures with actionable improvement recommendations; performing detailed research and analysis using public, industry, and client data sources; developing financial models and analyses from transactional and financial data; creating and executing workplans for assigned projects; drafting client deliverables for review by project leads; collaborating with internal Revenue Integrity team members to standardize methodologies and documentation; and facilitating internal meetings while prioritizing tasks to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • You will join BRG’s Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) practice, a team of seasoned healthcare executives, operators, and clinicians who partner with providers, payers, investors, and stakeholders to drive performance improvement through strategic growth design, operating model transformation, AI and digital enablement, clinical quality optimization, and revenue strategy—building resilient, future-ready healthcare enterprises.
  • The Revenue Cycle team within IHS focuses on Margin & Operational Improvement, delivering measurable financial results by increasing revenue and optimizing cost containment through innovative operating model transformations, with deep expertise in workforce productivity, supply chain, revenue cycle effectiveness, managed care, revenue integrity, pricing strategies, and ambulatory operations.
  • In this role, you will develop advanced expertise in healthcare revenue integrity, charge description master (CDM) management, denial prevention, payer contracting, and regulatory compliance across Medicare IPPS, OPPS, and ASC systems—while honing consulting skills in financial modeling, client engagement leadership, and cross-functional team collaboration, positioning you for continued advancement within BRG’s prestigious healthcare consulting practice.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Health Information Management, or a related discipline
  • 4–8 years of consulting and/or industry experience in Revenue Integrity and/or Charge Integrity, including performance and process improvement, revenue management and redesign, and reimbursement and recovery strategies
  • Operational expertise with Charge Description Master (CDM) management, charge capture, revenue integrity, denials prevention, HIM/coding/outpatient clinical documentation improvement, and payer contracting

🏖️ Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: $90,000–$135,000 for Consultant level; $120,000–$165,000 for Managing Consultant level, with final title and compensation based on qualifications and experience
