📋 Description

• Manual QA Engineer role focused on ensuring stability of a payments platform during frequent releases and urgent hotfixes, critical for maintaining trust in financial transactions.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include manual testing of Web UI and APIs, risk-based testing of payment flows, API/E2E validation using Postman/Newman, data validation in PostgreSQL, maintaining regression/smoke suites, converting production incidents into test cases, collaborating with engineers/PMs, and providing concise release reports.

• The role offers opportunity to deepen expertise in payment systems, API testing, financial domain knowledge (auth/capture, refunds, 3DS, SCA), and incident-driven test improvement while working in a fast-paced, Kanban-based environment with high autonomy and impact.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in QA with strong manual testing fundamentals
• Strong API testing skills (Postman/Newman, curl, Swagger/OpenAPI)
• Practical understanding of auth vs capture, refunds, webhooks, idempotency, retries
• Basic SQL (PostgreSQL) for validating records, joins, and state transitions
• Experience with logs/monitoring tools (Grafana, Kibana/ELK, Sentry or similar)
• Comfortable working in Kanban / no-sprints / fast-changing requirements
• Good English (written + spoken) for remote async collaboration
