- • As a Manual Quality Assurance Engineer on the SIMBA Team at Speechify, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of AI-powered voice agents that operate in 71+ languages with sub-second latency, directly impacting customer satisfaction and product trust.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing detailed manual test plans and test cases, performing hands-on testing across browsers and devices, collaborating with engineers and product teams to identify and document defects, maintaining QA documentation such as test cases and regression suites, participating in Agile ceremonies, executing regression testing for releases, and continuously improving QA processes and communication.
- • You will join a forward-deployed, customer-embedded team at Speechify that builds and iterates on SIMBA Voice Agents alongside clients, ensuring real-world alignment and rapid innovation in the voice AI space.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in manual QA for web applications, strengthen your ability to advocate for quality in fast-paced environments, gain exposure to cutting-edge AI voice technology, and grow your impact through ownership of testing processes that directly influence product releases and customer success.
🎯 Requirements
- • B.S. in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experience
- • 3+ years of experience in manual QA testing, with a strong focus on Web applications
- • Strong understanding of QA fundamentals including test planning, test case design, regression testing, exploratory testing, and bug reporting
- • Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating cross functionally with engineering and product teams
- • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to isolate root causes and communicate issues clearly
- • Strong written communication skills, especially when documenting defects and test results
- • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Linear, or similar bug tracking/project management systems
- • Experience using browser developer tools to assist with debugging and issue reproduction
