  • • Market Area Managers operate in a field-based role within a designated geographic territory, requiring residence within or near the assigned market.
  • • Drive business development by prospecting and enrolling automotive dealerships to expand Credit Acceptance’s network of partners.
  • • Build and maintain strategic, consultative relationships with dealership clients through needs analysis, direct communication, and solutions-based selling.
  • • Manage your territory with an entrepreneurial mindset, acting as a small business owner responsible for revenue generation and market growth.
  • • Achieve performance goals through a combination of base salary and uncapped monthly commission, where total compensation is directly tied to impact and results.
  • • Travel extensively—minimum 80% of time spent in the field—visiting dealerships, conducting meetings, and supporting client operations.
  • • Utilize structured and ongoing training programs to enhance sales techniques, product knowledge, and industry expertise.
  • • Operate with autonomy to set your own schedule and manage your territory, ideal for self-starters who thrive in independent environments.
  • • Leverage company-provided resources including a company vehicle, mileage allowance, phone, and computer to support field activities.
  • • Maintain compliance with all company policies, legal guidelines, and ethical standards in all customer interactions and business practices.
  • • Participate in quarterly profit sharing as a recognized contributor to company-wide success.
