- • Market Area Managers operate in assigned geographic territories across the U.S., requiring residence within or near the designated market.
- • Drive business development by prospecting and enrolling automotive dealerships into Credit Acceptance’s financing programs.
- • Build and maintain strategic, consultative relationships with dealership owners and managers to improve their retail operations and financing outcomes.
- • Manage territory as an entrepreneurial operation, setting personal schedule and priorities while meeting aggressive growth targets.
- • Achieve uncapped monthly commission based on performance, with total compensation tied directly to impact in the market.
- • Utilize a consultative sales approach involving detailed needs analysis, direct communication, and solutions-based problem solving with dealers.
- • Travel a minimum of 80% within the assigned territory to conduct in-person dealer visits and relationship-building activities.
- • Participate in structured and ongoing training programs designed to enhance sales effectiveness and industry knowledge.
- • Leverage company-provided resources including a company phone, computer, automobile, and mileage allowance to support territory management.
- • Operate with full autonomy over territory strategy while remaining compliant with company policies, legal guidelines, and ethical standards.
- • Contribute to company growth through consistent dealer enrollment, retention, and expansion of financing volume within assigned markets.
