- • The Market Chief Medical Director is responsible for implementing market-level clinical care standards and practice guidelines to ensure compliance with nationally accepted quality standards, playing a critical role in improving patient outcomes and care delivery across CareSource’s service areas.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include providing clinical consultation and training to staff, participating in Interdisciplinary Care Team meetings and inpatient census rounds, supporting provider network development, conducting quality of care reviews, and leading market-level quality initiatives and community collaboratives.

- • In this role, the individual will develop leadership expertise in clinical operations, influence healthcare policy and reimbursement strategies, drive quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to reducing disparities in care while advancing their impact in managed care and population health management.
🎯 Requirements
- • Completion of an accredited Medical Degree program (MD or DO)
- • Successful completion of a residency training program, preferably in primary care
- • Minimum of five (5) years of clinical practice experience
- • Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Michigan
- • Board Certification, preferably in primary care specialty, with maintenance of re-certification as required
