- • Serve as Peek’s primary market expert and representative for the Hawaiʻi tourism industry, leveraging deep local knowledge and an established network of operator relationships to drive growth across Oʻahu, Maui, Kauaʻi, and Hawaiʻi Island.
- • Grow and nurture strategic partnerships with tour operators, wholesale partners, resellers, online travel agencies (OTAs), and tour desks throughout the Hawaiian Islands to generate warm leads and expand Peek’s commercial pipeline.
- • Represent Peek at industry events, trade shows, tourism organizations, and operator meetings across all major islands to increase brand visibility and credibility.
- • Become the leading authority on Peek Pro within the Hawaiʻi market by developing localized use cases, workflows, and demo scenarios tailored to the unique needs of Hawaiian operators.
- • Deliver compelling, in-person and virtual product demonstrations that translate platform capabilities into tangible business value for operators, addressing specific operational and distribution challenges.
- • Partner directly with the sales team on active opportunities by participating in discovery calls, operator meetings, and product demos to support deal progression and closure.
- • Gather and synthesize operator feedback, competitive intelligence, and market trends to inform Peek’s Hawaiʻi go-to-market strategy and contribute to product development priorities.
- • Own post-onboarding relationships with operators to ensure successful adoption, drive platform utilization, and maximize long-term customer value.
- • Conduct regular onsite and virtual business reviews with customers to identify expansion opportunities, including additional features, integrations, and booking growth initiatives.
- • Proactively identify and mitigate churn risks through strategic account planning, problem-solving, and ongoing engagement with operators navigating operational changes or evolving distribution strategies.
- • Serve as a trusted advisor to operators, guiding them through growth, technology adoption, and distribution optimization within Hawaiʻi’s complex tourism ecosystem.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Partnerships, and Leadership teams to ensure Hawaiʻi’s unique market dynamics are reflected in commercial planning and product roadmaps.
- • Maintain a scalable, relationship-driven growth model for the region by balancing high-touch operator engagement with efficient sales processes.
- • Ensure seamless handoffs between sales and customer success teams to promote strong onboarding outcomes and early product adoption.
- • Travel regularly across all four major Hawaiian Islands to meet with operators, attend events, and conduct onsite visits as required by the role.
🎯 Requirements
- • Deep knowledge of the Hawaiʻi tourism landscape, including operators, distribution channels, wholesale partnerships, and market dynamics.
- • An established network of operator, partner, and industry relationships across the Hawaiian Islands.
- • 5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, B2B sales, account management, or a related commercial role, ideally within tourism, hospitality, travel, or SaaS.
- • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities and create value through partnerships and relationships.
- • A passion for technology and the ability to quickly develop deep product expertise.
- • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
