- • Own the end-to-end strategy for multi-channel marketing campaigns that reach millions of policyholders, advisors, and prospects across Protective’s retail divisions and enterprise initiatives.
- • Translate complex business goals into crystal-clear campaign briefs that map the entire customer and distributor journey, ensuring every touchpoint ladders up to brand promise and revenue targets.
- • Build and maintain a rolling 12-month campaign roadmap that balances high-impact launches, always-on nurture streams, and experimental pilots—prioritized by ROI, audience size, and strategic urgency.
- • Establish rigorous KPI frameworks (lead volume, cost-per-acquisition, lifetime value, NPS, advisor activation) and design A/B and multivariate testing plans that continuously optimize creative, offer, channel mix, and cadence.
- • Architect integrated marketing plans that specify deliverables, audience segments, messaging hierarchies, channel roles, budget allocations, milestone deadlines, and performance dashboards—then socialize them through WorkFront for flawless cross-functional execution.
- • Partner daily with Brand, Product, Sales Enablement, Compliance, and Creative teams to ensure every campaign aligns with brand guidelines, regulatory requirements, and sales objectives, while still pushing creative boundaries.
- • Analyze real-time campaign performance using BI tools and marketing tech stack data; surface actionable insights that inform rapid pivots, re-allocation of spend, and future strategy development.
- • Champion a culture of experimentation by introducing new channels (e.g., connected TV, podcast sponsorships, interactive calculators) and emerging martech capabilities that keep Protective ahead of industry trends.
- • Serve as the connective tissue between upper-funnel brand storytelling and lower-funnel conversion tactics, ensuring seamless hand-offs and consistent messaging from first impression to policy issuance.
- • Mentor junior marketers and agency partners on best-practice campaign architecture, test design, and post-campaign learning capture, elevating the overall marketing IQ of the organization.
- • Present strategic recommendations and performance readouts to senior leadership, translating data into compelling narratives that secure continued investment and executive buy-in.
- • Continuously refine processes, templates, and governance models to reduce cycle time, eliminate redundancies, and scale campaign operations across multiple lines of business.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field plus minimum 5 years of hands-on marketing or advertising experience, ideally in financial services or similarly regulated industry.
- • Demonstrated ability to craft integrated campaign strategies that span email, paid social, search, display, direct mail, and sales enablement—grounded in data and customer insights.
- • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel pivot tables, PowerPoint storytelling) and familiarity with WorkFront or comparable work-management platforms.
- • Proven track record of setting measurable KPIs, designing statistically valid tests, and translating performance data into actionable optimizations that improve ROI.
- • Nice-to-have: experience with marketing automation (Marketo, Eloqua), CRM (Salesforce), BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), and SEO/SEM best practices.
