Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Own the entire social and brand ecosystem for Sweatpals, translating our mission of “real connection through movement” into thumb-stopping, culture-shaping content across Instagram, TikTok, and 10+ city-specific accounts. You’ll architect a master content calendar that balances global brand moments with hyper-local flavor, ensuring every post feels like it was made by the host down the street.
  • • Build and codify a repeatable, scalable playbook that lets us launch new cities in weeks—not months—without losing the authentic, joyful voice that makes followers feel like insiders. This includes templates, tone guides, creative briefs, and approval workflows that empower local teams and creators to move fast while staying unmistakably “Sweatpals.”
  • • Lead, mentor, and level-up a lean but mighty team: one Brand Coordinator and one Content Intern. You’ll set weekly priorities, run creative critiques, and give feedback that sharpens both strategy and craft—turning raw ideas into polished assets that spark conversation and drive RSVPs.
  • • Spot cultural and fitness trends before they crest—whether it’s a new sound on TikTok, a micro-community obsessed with cold-plunge socials, or a pickleball-meets-brunch mashup—and translate them into on-brand campaigns that feel native, not forced. Your radar for Gen Z and millennial behavior will keep Sweatpals two steps ahead of the scroll.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Growth, and Community teams to turn every feature drop, host milestone, and city launch into a social-first story. You’ll brief designers, rally UGC creators, and write copy that converts passive scrollers into active Pals.
  • • Spearhead influencer and creator partnerships end-to-end: scout talent that aligns with our values, negotiate deliverables, brief them on narrative arcs, and measure performance against brand lift and event attendance. When a collab hits, you’ll know exactly why—and how to replicate it.
  • • Own the visual and tonal quality bar. Even if you’re not pushing pixels in Figma, you can eyeball a layout and say, “That gradient feels off-brand,” or “This caption needs more swagger.” You’ll keep a living style guide and train the team to protect it.
  • • Experiment relentlessly—test new formats (multi-city Reels, meme carousels, host takeovers), iterate based on real-time data, and share learnings in a Monday morning Loom so the whole company levels up. Failure is just another data point on the road to virality.
  • • Support tent-pole brand moments beyond social: co-write email drops that feel like a text from your funniest friend, design on-site signage for 500-person sunrise yoga, and script host highlight videos that make viewers want to move—literally.
  • • Stay hyper-organized in Notion, Airtable, and Later, turning chaos into clarity. You’ll juggle 20 concurrent campaigns, three time zones, and last-minute product pivots without breaking stride—or the brand voice.
  • • Thrive in the beautiful mess of an early-stage startup: roll up your sleeves to resize an asset at 11 p.m. because a host’s event just got featured on the local news, then pitch a bold new channel strategy at 9 a.m. the next day.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3–6 years of hands-on social or brand marketing experience, preferably at a high-growth consumer startup, creator platform, or fitness/wellness brand
  • • Proven track record of growing engaged communities and turning cultural moments into measurable engagement (please share portfolio or campaign case studies)
  • • Experience managing or mentoring junior marketers and working cross-functionally with design, product, and growth teams
  • • Deep fluency in Gen Z and millennial culture, trends, and platform nuances (Instagram, TikTok, emerging channels)
  • • Excellent short-form copywriting skills and sharp visual taste; comfort guiding creative direction even if you’re not the one designing
  • • Highly organized, data-minded, and resourceful—comfortable with Notion, Airtable, Figma, Later, Sprout, Canva, and AI tools for ideation and workflow

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Full medical and dental insurance to keep you healthy for all those sunrise runs
  • • Flexible PTO and remote-friendly policy so you can work from a mountain cabin or a beachside pickleball court
  • • Monthly fitness and wellness allowance—use it on classes, gear, or that cold-plunge membership you’ve been eyeing
  • • Team workouts, IRL events, and early access to new Sweatpals tools—basically, your job is to test the product while making friends
