Full Job Description

📋 Description

  • As a Marketing Manager on DexCom’s North America Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Creative Campaigns team, you will play a pivotal role in translating clinical innovation into compelling, patient-focused advertising that drives awareness, engagement, and adoption of life-changing continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) technology. Your work will directly impact how millions of people understand and manage their health, bridging the gap between medical breakthroughs and real-world patient empowerment through strategic, insight-driven paid media campaigns.
  • You will shape and guide the creation and development of patient-facing paid advertising campaigns across TV, audio, online video, display, and paid placements, setting creative direction through deep audience insights, briefing, casting, agency collaboration, and iterative feedback to ensure full-funnel assets resonate emotionally and clinically.
  • You will own select high-impact content initiatives end-to-end—from concept through launch and iteration—while supporting larger enterprise-level DTC campaigns, ensuring alignment between creative vision, media strategy, and performance goals.
  • You will oversee campaign coordination and delivery by managing asset plans, trafficking documents, timelines, and cross-functional handoffs to guarantee seamless execution from concept to launch, maintaining rigorous attention to detail and schedule integrity.
  • You will partner closely with Media, Analytics, and Channel teams to ensure paid content is optimized for performance across formats, placements, and funnel stages, using market research, engagement data, and performance metrics to inform creative decisions and ongoing optimization.
  • You will bring a strong point of view on what makes paid content effective, continuously raising the bar on creative quality, clarity, and impact by challenging assumptions, advocating for patient-centric messaging, and elevating the standard for DTC efforts across the organization.
  • You will identify new claim opportunities based on emerging clinical evidence and market research, translating complex scientific findings into clear, compelling, patient-friendly messaging that complies with regulatory standards while remaining emotionally resonant.
  • You will collaborate with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) teams and cross-functional partners to ensure all content is reviewed, approved, and launched efficiently, navigating healthcare compliance with creativity and precision.
  • You will operate within a supportive, high-performing team culture that values rigor, curiosity, smart risk-taking, and integrity, where your contributions are recognized and your growth is actively nurtured through mentorship, learning programs, and global mobility opportunities.
  • In this role, you will develop expertise in healthcare marketing at the intersection of clinical innovation and consumer engagement, gaining rare experience in regulated industries while building a portfolio of award-winning, impact-driven campaigns that improve real health outcomes—positioning you as a leader in the future of consumer health technology marketing.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8–12 years of related marketing, brand, or campaign development experience, with hands-on experience shaping creative work and contributing to integrated, full-funnel campaigns across TV, audio, digital, display, and other channels.
  • Demonstrated strong creative judgment grounded in insights and performance data, with proven ability to use market research, engagement metrics, and analytics to inform creative decisions and optimize campaign performance.
  • Experience partnering effectively with agencies and cross-functional teams in fast-paced, regulated environments (healthcare experience a plus), including comfort navigating MLR review processes and balancing speed, creativity, and compliance.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with exceptional project management skills to manage complex timelines, asset plans, trafficking documents, and deliverables while maintaining strategic clarity and stakeholder alignment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a track record of building trust, aligning diverse stakeholders, and contributing to a positive, high-performing team culture through clear, thoughtful feedback and proactive problem-solving.
  • Motivated by raising the bar on creative quality and impact, with a passion for translating complex clinical information into clear, compelling, patient-friendly messaging that drives real-world health behavior change.

🏖️ Benefits

  • A front row seat to life-changing CGM technology and access to DexCom’s inspiring #dexcomwarriors community, connecting you directly to the real-world impact of your work.
  • A supportive, high-performing team culture that values rigor, curiosity, smart risk-taking, and integrity, fostering professional growth and psychological safety.
  • A full and comprehensive benefits program including health, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and wellness initiatives designed to support holistic employee well-being.
  • Growth opportunities on a global scale, with access to internal mobility, stretch assignments, and international projects as DexCom expands its consumer health vision.
  • Access to career development through in-house learning programs, leadership training, and qualified tuition reimbursement to support continuous skill advancement and educational goals.
  • An exciting, innovative, industry-leading organization committed to employees, customers, and communities, with a mission-driven culture that empowers you to make a meaningful difference in global health.
