- • As the Marketing Technology Lead at LemFi, you will be the central architect and driving force behind our performance marketing engine. Your primary mission is to ensure that every single dollar invested in global user acquisition is meticulously measured, understood, and optimized. You will be instrumental in transforming our conversion funnel into a highly efficient, 'leaky-bucket-free' zone, meticulously identifying and sealing any points of leakage. This pivotal role involves building and maintaining the robust infrastructure that enables us to accurately attribute the complex journey of cross-border transfers back to their original marketing sources, and critically, to optimize the entire user path from initial awareness to the crucial 'First Send' milestone.
- • You will be responsible for designing and maintaining a sophisticated multi-touch attribution (MTA) model. This model must be capable of accurately reflecting the intricate P2P (peer-to-peer) remittance journey, which often involves multiple touchpoints across Web-to-App transitions, cross-device user behavior, and complex referral loops. Understanding and quantifying the influence of each touchpoint is key to effective budget allocation and campaign optimization.
- • A significant aspect of your role will be to lead the transition and implementation of server-side tracking (SST), likely through Google Tag Manager (GTM) or Segment. This strategic move is essential to bypass the increasing challenges posed by ad-blockers and evolving privacy restrictions, ensuring that critical events, particularly the 'Transaction Funded' event, are captured with 100% accuracy and reliability.
- • You will own and manage the global event mapping and taxonomy. This involves establishing and enforcing a consistent, unified event dictionary across all platforms – iOS, Android, and Web. Ensuring that key user actions like 'KYC_Started,' 'KYC_Approved,' and 'Transfer_Initiated' are fired consistently and accurately is fundamental for reliable data analysis and reporting.
- • Optimizing deep linking strategies is another core responsibility. You will implement deferred deep linking solutions, utilizing platforms like AppsFlyer or Branch. This ensures that users arriving from specific corridor advertisements (e.g., ads promoting USD-to-PKR transfers) are seamlessly directed to the correct currency pairs within the app, providing an immediate and relevant user experience.
- • You will architect and build advanced retention triggers. This includes developing 'Liquidity Alerts' that can initiate automated, personalized push notifications. These alerts will be designed to engage users proactively, for instance, by notifying them when they deviate from their typical sending schedule, thereby encouraging continued platform usage and loyalty.
- • Driving a culture of experimentation is crucial. You will manage the technical implementation of A/B testing frameworks, such as Optimizely or VWO. Furthermore, you will conduct rigorous 'Lift Studies' to definitively prove the true incremental value and ROI of marketing campaigns, moving beyond correlation to establish causation.
- • This role demands a 'Data Intuitive' mindset. You will not passively accept dashboard figures; instead, your immediate response to any campaign showing an unrealistic Return on Investment (ROI) will be to meticulously verify the underlying tracking logic and data integrity.
- • You must possess 'Strategically Patient' qualities, understanding the nuances of the P2P remittance space. Recognizing that the critical 'First Transfer' event can take several days to materialize due to KYC procedures or bank processing times, you will map your attribution models accordingly to reflect this reality.
- • 'Operationally Rigorous' is a key attribute. You will treat the Marketing Technology (MarTech) stack as a critical product, maintaining comprehensive and clean documentation. Ensuring that app code changes do not inadvertently break existing automation workflows will be paramount.
- • You will act as a 'Cross-Functional Translator,' comfortably navigating conversations with diverse teams. This includes engaging with Legal to discuss data privacy regulations and collaborating with the Creative team to understand campaign objectives and technical implementation needs.
- • This role is vital in supporting LemFi's mission to build the go-to financial app for the Global South, enabling immigrants to stay connected to home, build stability, and create wealth. Your work will directly contribute to processing over $1B in monthly transactions and expanding financial opportunities across borders.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in a fintech or regulated technology environment (e.g., Remittance, Payments, Cryptocurrency) with a strong understanding of KYC requirements and their impact on user journeys.
- • Deep expertise with Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs) such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Branch, including implementation, configuration, and data analysis.
- • High proficiency in SQL for querying raw event data and experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau or Looker for building and maintaining real-time growth monitors and dashboards.
- • Demonstrated track record of building Marketing Technology stacks from scratch or migrating existing systems to unified CDP-led architectures (e.g., Segment, Braze).
- • Experience managing automation logic for global marketing campaigns, with an understanding of how to adapt strategies to different regional geographies, regulations, and cultural nuances.
- • Solid analytical foundation, including a strong grasp of statistical significance and familiarity with both Bayesian and Frequentist testing methodologies.
