  • • As a Marketing Video Artist at Voodoo, you will play a pivotal role in driving user acquisition and engagement for Wizz, a leading social discovery app targeting Gen Z (18+), by creating scroll-stopping mobile video ads that blend cultural relevance with performance-driven creativity.
  • • Your work will directly impact the app’s growth in a highly competitive mobile landscape, where innovative ad creatives are critical to standing out and converting viewers into loyal users.
  • • Day to day, you will conceptualize, produce, and iterate on high-performing video ads tailored for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat, ensuring they capture attention within the first few seconds and align with Gen Z’s evolving tastes and behaviors.
  • • You will continuously benchmark competitor creatives and leading social apps to identify emerging trends, then adapt and experiment with new formats, hooks, storytelling techniques, and visual styles to maintain a creative edge.
  • • Leveraging AI tools, you will accelerate production workflows, explore generative content possibilities, and test innovative approaches that reduce time-to-market while increasing creative variety and effectiveness.
  • • You will adopt a data-driven mindset by analyzing key performance indicators such as CTR, CPI, and retention rates, using insights to refine and optimize creatives in rapid iteration cycles.
  • • Collaborating within a dynamic, multicultural creative squad, you will contribute to a vibrant team environment where diverse perspectives fuel innovation and bold experimentation.
  • • You will have the opportunity to extend your impact beyond Wizz to other Voodoo products like BeReal and WeMoms, gaining cross-product experience and broadening your creative portfolio.
  • • Additionally, you may contribute to transversal initiatives such as evaluating and testing new creative tools or AI platforms, helping shape the future of Voodoo’s marketing technology stack.

  • • In this role, you will develop expert-level proficiency in performance-driven video advertising, mastering the balance between artistic expression and measurable marketing outcomes.
  • • You will deepen your expertise in Gen Z culture and social media trends, becoming a trusted creative strategist who can anticipate shifts in audience behavior and translate them into high-impact campaigns.
  • • You will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI tools in creative production, positioning yourself at the forefront of the evolving digital marketing landscape.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Fully proficient with video editing and content creation, with expert-level skills in After Effects
  • • At least 2+ years of experience in a similar role creating performance-focused mobile video ads for consumer apps or social platforms
  • • Deep familiarity with the mobile app market and Gen Z culture, including fluency in TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat trends
  • • Creative mindset with a growth hacking approach, capable of experimenting rapidly and iterating based on data
  • • Experience using AI tools for creative production, such as generative video, text-to-video, or AI-assisted editing platforms
  • • Fluent in English, both oral and written, to collaborate effectively in an international environment
