- • As a Medical Affairs Clinical Research Scientist in U.S. Medical Affairs – Cardiometabolic Health at Eli Lilly and Company, you will play a critical role in translating scientific data into actionable insights that support the development and lifecycle management of Lilly’s cardiometabolic portfolio. This role is essential for generating evidence, enabling compliant scientific exchange, and ensuring that medical affairs activities align with corporate strategy and regulatory standards.
- • On a day-to-day basis, you will execute components of the U.S. medical strategy by leading evidence generation initiatives, developing and delivering scientific communications (such as manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations), engaging with healthcare professionals and external stakeholders through advisory boards and scientific interactions, and owning materials through the Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR) review process to ensure compliance and scientific rigor.
- • You will be part of the U.S. Medical Affairs Cardiometabolic Health organization, which partners closely with global and U.S. Medical, Clinical Development, Commercial, Regulatory, and Patient Safety teams to support Lilly’s cardiometabolic portfolio. The team operates in an integrated, matrixed environment focused on science-driven decision-making and ethical scientific engagement.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cardiometabolic diseases, strengthen your scientific writing and cross-functional collaboration skills, and gain experience in evidence generation, medical affairs strategy execution, and compliant scientific communication within a leading global pharmaceutical company.
