- • Conducts compliance audits on medical billing functions performed by TruBridge employees or contracted staff to ensure adherence to federal, state, and payer-specific billing guidelines.
- • Performs day-to-day audits of claims, researches billing questions, documents findings, and collaborates with Compliance Consultants and Department Leaders to recommend corrective actions, policy updates, or system changes.
- • Works within TruBridge’s compliance team focused on medical billing integrity, supporting accurate reimbursement and regulatory adherence across healthcare client engagements.
- • Develops expertise in Medicare/Medicaid hospital billing, compliance auditing, and healthcare regulatory standards while building skills in audit documentation, stakeholder communication, and process improvement.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2 years of Medicare hospital billing experience within the last 12 months
- • Prior experience conducting research on Medicare/Medicaid billing concepts
- • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management abilities
- • Detail-oriented with ability to follow issues to resolution
- • Comfortable presenting audit findings and teaching compliance concepts to individuals
