Full Job Description
đ Description
- ⢠Serve as the clinical voice and subject-matter expert for Plume, shaping the future of trans healthcare across the United States. You will be the bridge between clinical excellence and product innovation, ensuring every decision centers the lived experience of Trans and Gender Non-Conforming (TGNC) patients.
- ⢠Lead a distributed clinical team of 40+ contracted providers and multiple full-time clinicians by conducting monthly 1:1s with providers, weekly 1:1s with Pod Leads, and providing real-time guidance that balances compassion with evidence-based standards.
- ⢠Own the quality-of-care engine: design and run continuous-improvement initiatives, oversee Performance Improvement Plans, facilitate routine chart reviews, and ensure every clinical interaction meets or exceeds federal, state, and industry regulations.
- ⢠Translate complex medical guidelines into user-friendly workflows by partnering daily with Product, Engineering, and Member Operations teams. Your clinical insight will directly influence feature roadmaps, telehealth tooling, and patient-facing content.
- ⢠Act as the public-facing clinical authority for Plume. Collaborate with Marketing to craft accurate, affirming messaging for new service launches; represent the company at conferences, webinars, and policy forums; and ensure all external communications reflect the highest standard of trans-competent care.
- ⢠Maintain a small but meaningful patient panel (â0.2 FTE) to stay grounded in frontline realities. Your direct patient care will inform process improvements, training curricula, and strategic decisions while delivering the same compassionate, gender-affirming hormone therapy Plume is known for.
- ⢠Drive regulatory compliance strategy by serving as the go-to expert for healthcare law, telehealth regulations, and privacy standards. You will draft scopes of care, clinical management briefs, and policy documents that scale across 50+ states and territories.
- ⢠Champion inclusive recruitment by interviewing clinician candidates, assessing cultural competency with TGNC populations, and co-designing onboarding programs that fast-track new hires to confident, autonomous practice.
- ⢠Own key organizational OKRs alongside the Associate VP of Clinical & Member Services, translating high-level goals into measurable clinical KPIs, tracking progress through data dashboards, and presenting outcomes to the executive team and board.
- ⢠Provide ad-hoc clinical consultation for cross-functional projects ranging from insurance expansion to crisis-response protocols, ensuring every initiative meets the dual mandate of medical rigor and radical trans inclusion.
