- • Lindus Health is at the forefront of revolutionizing clinical trials, aiming to accelerate the delivery of life-saving treatments to patients. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Medical Director to join our UK operations in a senior, flexible capacity. This role offers a unique opportunity for a seasoned clinician with substantial industry experience to provide critical medical leadership while complementing their existing practice or research commitments. As a part-time position, approximately one day per week, you will be integral to our Medical function, taking on significant responsibilities in medical monitoring, investigator duties, sponsor engagement, and protocol development. Your contributions will directly impact live clinical trials across a diverse spectrum of therapeutic areas, embodying our mission to power biology's century with faster, more reliable clinical trials.
- • In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the scientific rigor and operational success of our clinical trials. Your responsibilities will span the entire trial lifecycle, from initial design to ongoing monitoring and safety assessment. You will be expected to apply your deep clinical knowledge and industry experience to make critical medical decisions, ensuring participant safety and data integrity. This is a chance to leverage your expertise in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment where your work has a tangible impact on patient outcomes and the advancement of medical treatments.
- • Key responsibilities include comprehensive medical monitoring, where you will meticulously review and assess adverse events, safety data, and protocol deviations. Your clinical judgment will be crucial in making informed decisions regarding participant safety and the continuation of studies, upholding the highest ethical and scientific standards. You will also undertake investigator responsibilities, potentially serving as a Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator on designated trials. This involves ensuring strict adherence to approved protocols, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements, acting as the primary medical authority on-site or remotely.
- • Furthermore, you will act as a key medical liaison for our sponsors. This involves engaging in constructive dialogue, contributing to feasibility assessments, providing expert insights during safety reviews, and maintaining clear, consistent communication throughout the trial. Your ability to translate complex medical information into actionable insights for non-medical stakeholders will be highly valued. You will also play a vital role in protocol development, lending your medical expertise to the design and refinement of study protocols. This ensures that our trials are not only scientifically sound but also operationally feasible and aligned with the evolving landscape of medical research.
- • Your therapeutic area coverage will be broad and impactful, supporting and leading trials in areas such as diabetes, OB/GYN, dermatology, migraine, COVID-19, sleep disorders, oncology diagnostics, and uterine cancer. This diversity offers continuous learning opportunities and the chance to contribute to a wide range of critical health initiatives. The role is designed for a senior doctor or clinical researcher seeking high-impact, flexible work that integrates seamlessly with their primary career, offering substantial responsibility without the demands of a full-time commitment. You will collaborate directly with our VP Medical and the senior leadership team, contributing to strategic medical decisions and the overall growth of Lindus Health. We foster a collaborative, no-ego culture where transparency, high agency, and a patient-first mindset are core values. Join us in transforming clinical research and making a real difference in patients' lives.

- • Strong understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and UK/MHRA regulatory requirements.
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with sponsors, cross-functional teams, and non-medical stakeholders.
