This field-based role is essential to advancing Takeda’s medical strategy in dermatology, ensuring that scientific insights from the field inform internal decision-making, support lifecycle management of compounds, and ultimately improve patient outcomes through compliant, evidence-based engagement.
  • • On a day-to-day basis, the MSL will: build and maintain professional relationships with KOLs and HCPs per territory plans; demonstrate advanced knowledge of Takeda’s dermatology pipeline and competitor landscape; analyze and interpret complex scientific data to disseminate in a fair-balanced, compliant manner; support Takeda-sponsored research and investigator-initiated studies; execute field-based medical education programs; assist with advisory boards and medical conferences; identify partnership opportunities between KOLs and Takeda; address unsolicited medical information requests compliantly; ensure achievement of quantitative and qualitative MSL metrics; complete CRM documentation, training, and expense reporting accurately and timely; assist in identifying and evaluating clinical trial sites; support clinical trial site engagement per the Enterprise Engagement Model; provide subject matter expertise for internal cross-functional training; and perform all activities in full compliance with IMC, PAAB, and other regulatory standards.

The team operates with a patient-centric, science-first mindset, emphasizing integrity, innovation, and excellence in all external engagements.
  • • In this role, the individual will develop deep expertise in dermatology therapeutics, refine advanced scientific communication and influence-without-authority skills, gain exposure to global drug development processes, and contribute meaningfully to medical strategy that shapes future treatment paradigms. The MSL will also enhance their ability to operate effectively in virtual and hybrid environments while building a robust professional network across academic, clinical, and research institutions in Western Canada.
