- • The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role at GRAIL, Inc. is critical to advancing the company’s mission of detecting cancer early, when it can be cured, by engaging healthcare providers and key opinion leaders with scientific evidence supporting the Galleri Multi-Cancer Early Detection test.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and engaging external stakeholders such as oncologists and diagnostic specialists through medical-commercial partnerships, delivering medical education via slides, abstracts, and publications, responding to unsolicited medical/scientific inquiries, contributing to the development of educational resources, and training external speakers on Galleri’s clinical utility.
- • The role operates within a multidisciplinary organization of scientists, engineers, and physicians dedicated to pioneering early cancer detection technologies using next-generation sequencing, large-scale clinical studies, and advanced data science, with headquarters in the San Francisco Bay Area and additional sites in Washington, D.C., North Carolina, and the United Kingdom.
- • The MSL will develop expertise in oncology diagnostics, scientific communication, and KOL engagement while ensuring all activities comply with corporate and healthcare regulations, including those governing clinical trials and scientific interactions, ultimately contributing to the adoption of innovative cancer screening technologies.
🎯 Requirements
- • Current title of Sr. MSL (or equivalent) at an oncology or molecular screening/diagnostic company
- • At least three years of experience in an MSL role or equivalent
- • KOL development experience and peer leadership experience within an MSL team
