- • As a Payroll Specialist at ICW Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for four companies across multiple states, directly supporting team member satisfaction and compliance with wage and hour laws.
- • Day to day, you will administer the end-to-end payroll process using Workday, including processing bi-weekly payrolls, managing new hires and terminations, handling off-cycle payments, reconciling payroll accounts, preparing W-2s, and responding to payroll-related inquiries and verification requests.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in multi-state payroll compliance, gain advanced proficiency in Workday and HRIS systems, and develop skills in payroll process improvement and HR service center support, positioning you for growth in shared services or HR operations.
🎯 Requirements
- • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in HR, Payroll, or Accounting preferred
- • Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience, including at least two years in a multi-state employer environment
- • Demonstrated proficiency with payroll and timekeeping systems, preferably Workday, along with strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- • Knowledge of California and federal wage and hour laws, basic accounting principles, and payroll tax compliance
- • APA Certification or membership preferred; detail-oriented, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality while managing complex payroll transactions
