📋 Description

  • Medical Specialist II in Ophthalmology responsible for developing and managing relationships with Retina Specialists and customer accounts in the Washington DC/Baltimore territory to drive product adoption and achieve sales goals for Regeneron’s ophthalmic therapies.
  • Daily responsibilities include providing technical and clinical product knowledge, leveraging marketing and operations resources, managing reimbursement and formulary strategies, and ensuring high customer satisfaction through expert engagement with healthcare providers.
  • Regeneron is a science-driven biopharmaceutical leader known for developing innovative medicines for serious medical conditions, with established ophthalmic products and a strong pipeline in high-unmet-need areas, committed to scientific excellence and inclusive workplace culture.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or business (master’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of specialty sales experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • Proven experience with biologics, buy and bill products, reimbursement programs, government programs, managed care, formulary, and contract negotiation
  • Demonstrated history of high sales performance
  • Ophthalmology and/or retina therapeutic area experience preferred
  • Residency in the Washington DC/Baltimore territory required
