- • This is a remote, freelance contractor position for a Bengali medical translator based in the United States, contributing to Lilt’s mission of making global information accessible through AI-powered language services.
- • The translator will work on life sciences, medical, and clinical trial content, translating and localizing materials with high accuracy and domain expertise to support enterprise, government, and AI developer clients.
- • As part of Lilt’s global Translator Community, the role involves independent, flexible work on diverse projects that advance multilingual AI and human-verified translation quality.
- • The translator will have the opportunity to grow professionally by working on cutting-edge language technology projects, expanding their portfolio across industries while maintaining full control over their schedule and workload.
🎯 Requirements
- • Native or fluent proficiency in Bengali (reading and writing)
- • University degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a medical certification
- • Demonstrated experience in translation and localization, with specific project and client details in life sciences, medical, or clinical trials domains
- • Ability to dedicate a minimum of 5 hours per week to translation tasks
- • Must reside in the United States
