📋 Description

• Freelance contractor position for Dari translators to join Lilt’s global Translator Community, working remotely from the United States.
• Translate content primarily in the domains of Life Sciences, Medical, and Clinical Trials, ensuring accuracy and cultural appropriateness for specialized technical audiences.
• Work on projects that support cutting-edge AI and language technology, contributing to human-verified multilingual services used by Enterprises, Governments, and AI Developers worldwide.
• Set your own schedule with no fixed hours, check-ins, or micromanagement — work as much or as little as you choose, based on your availability.
• Complete a minimum of five hours of translation tasks per week to maintain active status in the translator community.
• Submit detailed documentation of past translation and localization projects, including client names and domain-specific work, to demonstrate expertise in medical and life sciences fields.
• Contribute to projects that advance global access to information by enabling accurate multilingual communication between humans and machines.
• Engage with a global network of linguists, subject matter experts, and language professionals focused on innovation and excellence in language technology.
• Access diverse, high-impact projects that expand your professional portfolio across industries and domains, enhancing your skills and marketability.
• Receive prompt and competitive payments for completed work, with no need to chase invoices or negotiate terms.

• Maintain confidentiality and data security when handling sensitive medical and clinical trial documentation.
• Apply with proof of native or fluent proficiency in Dari, including strong reading and writing skills in the language.
• Hold a university degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field, or possess equivalent medical certification to qualify for domain-specific assignments.

🎯 Requirements

• Native or fluent in Dari (reading and writing)
• University degree in Linguistics / Translation or medical certification
• Demonstrable experience in translation and localization, particularly in Life Sciences, Medical, or Clinical Trials
• Must reside in the United States
• Can dedicate a minimum of 5 hours of translation tasks per week
