📋 Description

  • The Medicare Claims Biller provides TruBridge services to a Critical Access Hospital client in Texas, managing day-to-day business office operations including patient billing, collections, third-party payer relations, and insurance claim preparation.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating billing and collections staff, implementing process improvements, ensuring accurate and timely claim submissions, following up on overdue accounts, maintaining quality customer service, processing administrative paperwork, and assisting in employee coaching, training, and disciplinary actions.
  • TruBridge is a healthcare revenue cycle management company supporting Critical Access Hospitals with specialized billing and operational services, emphasizing compliance, accuracy, and customer-focused solutions.
  • The role offers opportunities to deepen expertise in Medicare billing, lead process improvements, develop supervisory skills, and contribute to the financial health of rural healthcare providers while working remotely.

🎯 Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hospital billing experience, including Medicare claims processing, preferably in Texas
  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, time-management, and detail-oriented abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with experience in training, coaching, and enforcing company policies
