• • The role offers a unique chance to gain a comprehensive understanding of our entire technology stack. This includes deep dives into our cloud platform, primarily AWS, and various data storage technologies such as DynamoDB and Redshift. You will also engage with stream processing technologies like Kafka, and develop sophisticated components using the Scala/Typelevel stack.
• • A core aspect of your responsibility will be to fully own the systems developed by your team. This ownership extends beyond initial development to include active participation in deployment and ongoing operations, including on-call rotations where necessary. This hands-on approach ensures a deep understanding and accountability for the services you build.

• • We are seeking individuals who possess an interest or experience in functional programming within a typed setting. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field is desirable, coupled with 2-3 years of relevant professional work experience, aligning with the expectations of a medior-level position.
• • Familiarity with data storage and processing systems such as PostgreSQL, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Redshift, and Apache Spark is beneficial, though in-depth expertise is not a prerequisite. We value a willingness to learn and adapt.
• • Excellent collaboration and communication skills are essential, enabling effective interaction with both local and remote team members in English and Hungarian. You should be adept at articulating technical concepts and contributing to team discussions.
• • A customer-centric mindset is paramount. You will be expected to understand customer needs thoroughly and provide solutions that are primarily driven by those requirements. This involves translating user needs into effective technical implementations.
