- • As a Member Debt Representative II at USAA, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial well-being of military members and their families by resolving delinquent accounts with empathy, integrity, and adherence to regulatory standards. Your work directly contributes to USAA’s mission of being the #1 choice for the military community by delivering personalized financial solutions that improve members’ long-term security.
- • Day to day, you will use established procedures to manage non-complex delinquency cases, conduct member research to understand the root causes of financial hardship, and make outbound calls via automated and manual dialing systems to collect payments or arrange payment plans across all USAA product lines.
- • You will perform individual member needs assessments under close supervision to determine reasons for delinquency and provide customized advice and solutions aimed at improving financial security, while negotiating mutually satisfactory payment arrangements within defined guidelines.
- • You will ensure full compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal collection laws and regulations, including USAA’s internal standards, by completing account verification, maintaining accurate records, documenting all customer interactions, and updating collection attempts in the appropriate database systems.
- • Collaboration is key: you will work closely with team members to resolve issues, identify cases requiring escalation, and help monitor and control risks associated with business activities in line with USAA’s risk and compliance policies.

🎯 Requirements
- • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required.
- • 1 year of combined customer contact, sales, or collections experience in the financial services industry.
- • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
