📋 Description
- • Join Anchorage Digital, a pioneering regulated crypto bank, as a Member of Technical Staff, Automation Engineer, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of institutional digital asset services. We are on a mission to build the world's most advanced digital asset platform, empowering institutions to confidently participate in the crypto economy. As a federally chartered crypto bank, we offer an unparalleled combination of security, regulatory compliance, product innovation, and exceptional client service. We are actively seeking individuals who embody humility, creativity, and a relentless drive for learning to diversify our global team.
- • In this critical role within our Automation Engineering team, you will be instrumental in driving significant improvements in operational efficiency across our organization. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing robust automation solutions that reduce manual effort, streamline complex workflows, and consolidate disparate systems into a cohesive and efficient ecosystem. This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation, directly impacting how our back-office operations function and scale.
- • Your responsibilities will span the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment. You will be tasked with creating net-new backend services and capabilities that address emerging operational needs. Simultaneously, you will integrate with and enhance a wide array of existing backend and frontend services, ensuring seamless interoperability and maximizing the utility of our current technology stack. This requires a highly adaptable and comprehensive technical skillset, enabling you to navigate and contribute to diverse areas of our platform.
- • A key aspect of this role involves close collaboration with our Global Operations teams. You will work hand-in-hand with these stakeholders to identify critical pain points, meticulously prioritize initiatives based on business impact, and translate complex operational needs into clear, actionable technical requirements. Your ability to bridge the gap between business challenges and technical solutions will be paramount to your success.
- • You will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of these automation solutions. This includes architecting scalable and maintainable systems, writing high-quality code, implementing rigorous testing procedures, and ensuring smooth rollouts to production environments. The solutions you build will empower our entire organization, freeing up valuable human resources from repetitive tasks and allowing them to focus on higher-value strategic activities.
- • This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a rapidly evolving industry and a fast-growing company. You will be exposed to cutting-edge technologies and complex financial systems, providing a rich environment for professional growth and skill development. We encourage a culture of continuous learning and provide resources and support for you to explore, develop, and master new capabilities.
- • We operate as a remote-friendly, global team, with the option to work in-office in key locations such as New York City, Sioux Falls, Porto, Lisbon, and Singapore. For our remote colleagues, we actively encourage and sponsor quarterly in-person collaboration days, fostering a strong sense of community and enabling deeper connections within our 'Village'.
- • The impact of your work will be directly measurable through our 'Factors of Growth & Impact' framework, which helps Villagers articulate their contributions, receive constructive feedback, and understand the rewarding learning experiences gained while mastering their roles and exploring new opportunities within Anchorage Digital.
- • You will be a key contributor to building the infrastructure that supports our institutional clients, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our operations. This includes developing tools and systems that enhance data processing, automate reporting, improve internal workflows, and support our compliance and risk management functions.
- • This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of software engineering best practices. You will be expected to contribute to architectural discussions, mentor junior engineers, and champion automation initiatives across the engineering organization.
- • Ultimately, your success will be measured by the tangible improvements in operational efficiency, the reduction in manual processes, and the increased productivity of our Global Operations teams. You will be a driving force behind our ability to scale our services and maintain our position as a leader in the digital asset space.
