- • As a Member of Technical Staff, Infrastructure at Vapi Technologies Inc., you will play a critical role in scaling the world’s most configurable voice agent platform to handle hundreds of millions of daily calls, enabling voice to become humanity’s default interface. This role is central to ensuring the reliability, performance, and global scalability of infrastructure that processes millions of concurrent audio streams with sub-second response times.
- • You will begin by ramping on Vapi’s multi-cluster, multi-cloud infrastructure within the first 30 days, gaining deep familiarity with the systems that power real-time voice processing at scale. By day 60, you will deliver a new service such as an Anycast Global Router to optimize latency and resilience across geographic regions. By day 90, you will own and operate a major domain like GPU inference clusters, directly impacting the performance and cost-efficiency of Vapi’s AI-driven voice agents.
- • You will join a team of previous founders and infrastructure experts who have built and scaled systems from Series B to F, operating in a high-ownership, kind, and mission-driven culture where technical excellence and collaboration are paramount. The team is focused on solving some of the hardest problems in real-time distributed systems, including low-latency networking, fault tolerance, and efficient resource utilization across heterogeneous cloud environments.
- • In this role, you will have the opportunity to architect and operate systems that serve over 600,000 developers and power millions of voice interactions daily, gaining unparalleled experience in scaling AI infrastructure for real-time applications. You will also contribute to a generational shift in how businesses interact with customers through voice, while growing your expertise in cloud-native architectures, global traffic management, and high-performance computing.

- • Proven experience scaling massive, resilient, and performant systems from Series B to F stage companies
- • Deep expertise in multi-cloud, multi-cluster infrastructure and distributed systems architecture
- • Track record of delivering complex infrastructure services such as global routing, load balancing, or GPU cluster management
