📋 Description

• As the first dedicated security hire at Prime Intellect, you will own the security posture of the company's open superintelligence infrastructure, including hosted RL training platforms, distributed GPU infrastructure, and customer-facing systems, ensuring the protection of proprietary models, training data, and compute assets for frontier AI labs and enterprises.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting threat modeling across multi-tenant infrastructure, designing zero-trust networking and access controls, securing AI-native components like model weights and training data, managing external penetration tests, building internal red-teaming practices, implementing security monitoring and incident response, and driving SOC 2 Type II compliance readiness.
• You will join a well-funded startup backed by Founders Fund, Menlo Ventures, and prominent AI leaders such as Andrej Karpathy, Tri Dao, and Clem Delangue, working to build the open superintelligence stack that enables global compute orchestration and end-to-end reinforcement learning at frontier scale.
• In this role, you will have the opportunity to define the company's security culture from the ground up, influence technical and strategic decisions, build a security organization as the company scales, and directly impact enterprise trust and adoption of the platform through robust security posture and compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in security engineering, infrastructure security, or offensive security roles, ideally at companies operating multi-tenant cloud or compute infrastructure
• Deep experience with cloud security (GCP preferred), Kubernetes security, and container runtime hardening
• Hands-on ability to read, write, and audit code in Python and Rust (or strong systems-level language)
