- • Generate scientific and clinical insights from data produced by AI models to identify opportunities for model improvement and clinical impact.
- • Collaborate with AI researchers, AI engineers, biostatisticians, and translational scientists to advance clinical AI applications in precision medicine.
- • Contribute to peer-reviewed publications in high-impact scientific and clinical journals as a lead or co-author.
- • Summarize research findings into abstracts for presentation at national and international scientific meetings.
- • Draft and submit applications to access restricted clinical trial datasets from external partners.
- • Work directly with external clinical institutions and oncology centers to align AI tools with real-world treatment workflows.
- • Translate complex AI model outputs into actionable clinical recommendations for physicians treating cancer patients.
- • Apply machine learning concepts to interpret multi-modal clinical data including digital pathology, genomics, and electronic health records.
- • Use Python extensively to analyze datasets, prototype analyses, and support model validation pipelines.
- • Maintain rigorous attention to detail in data interpretation, documentation, and communication of results to both technical and clinical audiences.
- • Actively participate in cross-functional teams to refine AI models based on clinical feedback and emerging research.
- • Drive research initiatives from concept through publication and clinical deployment with minimal supervision.
- • Contribute to the development of clinical AI products such as Ataraxis™ Breast, ensuring alignment with oncology standards and physician needs.
- • Engage with advisory board members and external experts in AI and oncology to inform research direction and validation strategies.
- • Prioritize tasks ruthlessly to advance high-impact research goals within a fast-paced, flat organizational structure.
- • Demonstrate initiative by identifying novel research questions and proposing solutions that bridge AI innovation with clinical utility.
🎯 Requirements
- • MD or PhD in a scientific discipline
- • Prior lead author papers published in high-profile scientific and/or clinical journals
- • Excellent understanding of basic machine learning concepts
- • Excellent skills in Python
- • Exceptional spoken and written communication skills
- • Passion for research, attention to detail, and ability to drive tasks to completion
