Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Shape the robot’s “memory” by recording high-quality demonstrations of everyday household tasks that directly train our AI perception and action models. Every video you capture becomes a foundational data point that teaches the robot how humans naturally fold laundry, arrange shoes, load dishwashers, or wipe counters—turning your living room into a living lab for the future of home robotics.
- • Work on a flexible, part-time, fully remote schedule that fits around classes, parenting, freelancing, or other commitments. You decide when to record, as long as you meet weekly data targets and maintain the consistency our algorithms need to learn effectively.
- • Receive a complete hardware kit shipped to your door—tripod, lighting, mounts, and anonymized markers—so you can capture stable, broadcast-quality footage without investing in gear. We also provide step-by-step task cards, shot lists, and a mobile app that guides framing, lighting, and duration to ensure every clip meets our technical standards.
- • Iterate rapidly with a dedicated reviewer who gives same-day feedback on camera angles, motion clarity, and labeling accuracy. Your first week acts as a paid screening period at $30 per approved hour; once you pass, rates rise to $60 per approved hour for advanced tasks like multi-step meal prep or delicate object handling.
- • Collaborate asynchronously with a distributed team of memory developers, ML engineers, and product designers in Slack and Notion. Share tips on tricky tasks, vote on new scenarios we should teach the robot, and watch your contributions appear in weekly simulation demos.
- • Maintain strict data privacy by following our NDA and anonymization protocols—faces are blurred, voices removed, and no personally identifiable information ever leaves your device. You’ll complete a short security training module before your first recording session.
- • Grow beyond individual contributions: high-performing developers are invited to become task captains who onboard newcomers, design new scenarios, and earn additional leadership pay. Several current captains started exactly where you are now.
- • Contribute to a mission that matters. Every hour you spend teaching the robot is an hour we give back to families—less time folding laundry, more time reading bedtime stories. Your work directly accelerates the path to affordable, generalized home robots.
