- • Merchant Onboarding Manager at Adyen N.V. in Singapore, responsible for guiding merchants through the early stages of onboarding onto the Adyen platform, ensuring a seamless transition from commercial handover to operational readiness.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include understanding Adyen’s product offering to advise merchants and commercial teams, partnering with Sales Management and Compliance to shape onboarding solutions for complex deals, maintaining knowledge of regulatory and scheme compliance requirements, consolidating operational touchpoints into streamlined processes, engaging directly with merchants for smooth rollout, driving decision-making through data analysis, acting as a consultative partner across Sales, Account Management, Compliance, and prospects, interacting with merchants for accurate setup and launch, educating internal teams on regulatory updates, and contributing to process improvements for global scalability.
- • The Merchant Operations department at Adyen collaborates closely with Sales Management, Compliance, Underwriting, and Account Management to deliver innovative and ethical payment solutions for global merchants like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. Adyen fosters an environment where individuals are empowered to own their careers, tackle technical challenges at scale, and work as a team to deliver scalable, compliant, and commercially sound onboarding experiences.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in payment compliance, cross-functional project management, and merchant lifecycle optimization. You will strengthen your ability to balance regulatory demands with commercial goals, enhance stakeholder management across global teams, and gain experience in designing scalable onboarding processes that support Adyen’s growth in complex, high-value markets.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years experience in commercial, compliance, project management, or related fields
- • Strong people skills and ability to build relationships across teams and regions
- • Commercial acumen and ability to balance compliance requirements with commercial priorities
- • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
- • Prior Salesforce experience is preferred
