- • Design and maintain comprehensive security strategies leveraging Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps to protect organizational applications and monitor cloud-based activities.
- • Configure, optimize, and administer Microsoft Purview solutions to drive effective data discovery, classification, and governance across both cloud and on-premises environments.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security requirements and integrate solutions that align business objectives with regulatory obligations.
- • Oversee the implementation of identity and access management (IAM) policies, ensuring that only authorized personnel can access sensitive systems and information.
- • Regularly evaluate and refine security policies and procedures to address emerging threats and maintain compliance with prevailing industry norms.
- • Work in partnership with IT teams and business stakeholders to identify cloud risks, enforce security policies, and ensure regulatory adherence.
- • Implement advanced security measures, including threat protection, data loss prevention, Insider risk Management, Communication compliance, Information barrier and information protection through Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps and Microsoft Purview.
- • Employ Data Security Posture Management to evaluate and enhance the protection of sensitive data across a range of environments.
- • Leverage Compliance Manager to ensure continuous adherence to regulatory requirements and to optimize the organization’s risk management processes.
- • Conduct regular security audits, generate comprehensive reports, and analyze findings to detect vulnerabilities and recommend strategic mitigations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Extensive experience working with Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps and Microsoft Purview.
- • Minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in information security, cloud security, or related roles.
- • Experience working in global, multicultural environment, collaborating across functions and time zones.
- • Comprehensive knowledge of cloud security principles, data protection strategies, and compliance frameworks is essential.
- • Proven capability to design and implement security controls within Microsoft 365 environments.
- • Bachelor’s degree required. Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate or Information Protection Administrator Associate.
