đź“‹ Description
- • **Architect & Secure the Identity Backbone of a 48-Year-Old Software Leader** – You will own the design, implementation, and day-to-day health of Harris’s multi-domain Active Directory forests (on-prem and hybrid), Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID), and Exchange ecosystems that support 1,000+ employees and thousands of public-sector customers across North America.
- • **Lead High-Stakes Migrations & Integrations** – Plan and execute seamless AD and Exchange mailbox migrations for newly acquired companies, ensuring zero-downtime cut-overs, data integrity, and minimal business disruption. Your work directly accelerates Harris’s M&A strategy and revenue growth.
- • **Automate Identity Lifecycle at Scale** – Build PowerShell, Graph API, and Azure Automation solutions that provision, audit, and de-provision users in minutes instead of days. Integrate identity workflows with HRIS platforms to achieve true “hire-to-retire” automation and maintain SOX, HIPAA, and CJIS compliance.
- • **Defend the Perimeter with Modern Auth** – Implement and fine-tune SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect integrations, conditional-access policies, MFA rollouts, and privileged-identity management. You will be the last escalation point for complex authentication failures and security incidents.
- • **Keep Exchange & Teams Humming** – Configure hybrid Exchange topologies, SMTP relays, transport rules, and retention policies that guarantee 99.9 % mail flow uptime. Provide senior-level troubleshooting for calendar delegation, mail routing, and Teams telephony integration issues.
- • **Drive Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity** – Design and test AD forest recovery scenarios, lagged replication strategies, and Exchange Database Availability Groups (DAGs). Maintain run-books that allow any team member to restore services within documented RPO/RTO targets.
- • **Champion Documentation & Knowledge Sharing** – Create living architecture diagrams, SOPs, and change-management records in Confluence. Host monthly “lunch-and-learn” sessions to upskill peers on identity best practices and new Microsoft 365 features.
- • **Collaborate Across Global IT Squads** – Partner with Security, Networking, Applications, and DevOps teams to align identity roadmaps with corporate OKRs. Translate complex technical concepts into business value for executives and non-technical stakeholders.
- • **Continuously Optimize & Innovate** – Monitor identity and messaging telemetry via Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and SCOM. Propose and pilot emerging Microsoft 365 services—such as Entra ID Governance, Microsoft Sentinel, and Copilot for Security—to keep Harris ahead of the curve.
- • **Mentor & Elevate the Team** – Provide code reviews for junior engineers’ PowerShell modules and act as a sounding board for architectural decisions. Your leadership will shape the next generation of Harris’s identity and collaboration experts.
