📋 Description

• • Own the end-to-end design, build, and optimisation of scalable data models that power self-service analytics for Fortune-500 and high-growth scale-ups across Europe, South-East Asia, and Latin America. You will translate complex business questions into elegant dimensional models, DataVault structures, and star schemas that are fast, reliable, and easy for non-technical stakeholders to explore.
• • Lead dbt transformation pipelines from ingestion to curated data marts, ensuring code is version-controlled in Git, peer-reviewed, and continuously deployed via CI/CD. You will champion software-engineering best practices—unit tests, documentation, modularity—so every model can be safely extended by teammates in London, Ho Chi Minh, or São Paulo without fear of breaking downstream dashboards.
• • Partner directly with client analytics teams, product managers, and C-level executives to define KPIs, validate assumptions, and iterate on requirements in agile sprints. You will run interactive workshops, prototype mock-ups in Looker or Tableau, and present findings that influence pricing strategies, supply-chain decisions, and customer-experience roadmaps worth millions in revenue.
• • Optimise ELT workflows on Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery, tuning SQL for sub-second query performance and cost-efficiency. You will profile data lineage, implement incremental loads, and set up alerting so anomalies are caught before stakeholders notice—turning raw, messy data into trustworthy, real-time insights.
• • Mentor junior analysts and data engineers through pair-programming, code reviews, and lunch-and-learn sessions. You will curate an internal knowledge base of reusable dbt packages, SQL snippets, and dashboard templates that accelerate delivery across all regions and reduce duplicate effort.
• • Contribute to Infinite Lambda’s open-source initiatives and thought-leadership blog, sharing case studies on advanced dbt macros, Snowflake cost-governance, or DataVault 2.0 patterns. Your work will be showcased at meet-ups from London to Singapore, positioning you as a recognised expert in the global analytics community.
• • Experiment fearlessly with emerging tools—dbt Mesh, Snowflake Native Apps, or Python-based data contracts—to keep our stack at the bleeding edge. You will run proof-of-concepts during quarterly innovation weeks and, when successful, roll them out to production projects impacting tens of thousands of end users.
• • Uphold rigorous data-governance and privacy standards (GDPR, CCPA) by embedding row-level security, PII masking, and audit logging into every pipeline. You will liaise with legal and compliance teams to ensure our solutions not only delight users but also earn their trust.
