- • As a Mid-Market Account Executive at LlamaIndex, Inc., you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of Artificial Intelligence by defining and driving the narrative around document understanding. This pivotal role is designed for a driven sales professional who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment, taking ownership of the entire sales cycle for companies with under 500 employees. You will be instrumental in converting inbound interest, leveraging signals from our vibrant open-source community, and executing strategic outbound prospecting to generate new Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). Your success will directly contribute to LlamaIndex's mission of empowering businesses to unlock the immense value hidden within their unstructured data through advanced AI solutions.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of the sales process. You will meticulously prospect for new opportunities, conduct in-depth discovery calls to understand client needs and pain points, guide prospects through product evaluations, skillfully negotiate terms, and ultimately close deals. A significant part of your role will involve proactively sourcing and developing your own pipeline, utilizing a combination of targeted outbound prospecting efforts, identifying promising leads from our open-source community engagement, and cultivating relationships with potential partners for referrals. You will be adept at running structured discovery sessions, digging deep to uncover not just technical requirements but also critical business challenges and the specific criteria that drive purchasing decisions within target organizations. Navigating complex, multi-threaded deals will be a core competency, requiring you to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including technical evaluators who assess the platform's capabilities, economic buyers who control the budget, and end-users who will interact with the solution daily. To ensure successful client adoption and demonstrate value, you will collaborate closely with our talented Solutions Engineers and Forward Deployed Engineers, orchestrating focused Proofs of Concept (POCs) that are meticulously tied to predefined success criteria, ensuring alignment with the client's business objectives.

🎯 Requirements
- • 2–5 years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience with a consistent track record of quota attainment.
- • Proven ability to prospect and build pipeline independently, not solely dependent on inbound leads.
- • Experience selling to technical buyers, including engineers, data teams, or developer personas.
- • Startup experience: Ability to operate with minimal process, build your own playbook, and thrive in an ambiguous, resource-constrained environment.
- • AI-first operator: actively uses AI tools for account research, call prep, outreach, and pipeline management.
