📋 Description
- • Sell Abnormal Security solutions to Mid Market accounts (<3k mailbox organizations) within a defined territory to overachieve new annual recurring revenue quota.
- • Own the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through contract signing and post-sale expansion opportunities.
- • Prospect and generate new business opportunities using multiple channels including prospecting, marketing, referrals, and partner networks to build a robust sales pipeline.
- • Collaborate with Customer Success teams to identify and drive timely renewals and expansion sales with existing customers.
- • Serve as the customer’s voice internally by providing feedback to Sales Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams to influence prioritization and improve product-market fit.
- • Qualify customer needs and present ROI-driven value propositions to multiple stakeholders across technical and executive levels.
- • Execute a repeatable, disciplined sales process with strong time management and focus on closing deals efficiently.
- • Navigate complex internal and customer buying processes to remove obstacles and accelerate deal velocity.
- • Gather and apply customer insights to refine sales strategies, messaging, and execution tactics.
- • Operate effectively in an early-stage, resource-constrained environment with high autonomy and accountability.
- • Work cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align on customer outcomes and revenue goals.
- • Focus exclusively on Mid Market accounts with fewer than 3,000 mailboxes as the target customer segment.
- • Maintain consistent pipeline health through proactive outreach and strategic account planning to meet and exceed quarterly and annual targets.
- • Leverage customer feedback to inform product improvements and marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment between sales outcomes and company strategy.
- • Demonstrate a hunter mindset with a proven track record of acquiring new customers in competitive cybersecurity markets.
- • Adapt quickly to evolving market conditions, competitive dynamics, and internal product updates to maintain sales effectiveness.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of experience selling in cybersecurity
- • 4 years in an individual contributor role
- • Located in Oregon
- • Disciplined pipeline generation across channels (prospecting, marketing, referrals, partners)
- • Strong at qualifying needs and presenting ROI-driven value to stakeholders
- • Executes a repeatable sales process with focus and time management
