Full Job Description

📋 Description

  • As a Mid-Market Business Development Representative at Peek Travel Inc., you will serve as a strategic first point of contact for high-potential prospects in the experiences industry, directly contributing to revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads for enterprise-level clients such as museums, attractions, and tour operators. Your work will be instrumental in expanding Peek’s market presence and supporting the company’s mission to power seamless guest experiences through its AI-driven platform.
  • You will drive the full lifecycle of mid-market opportunity development — from initial prospecting and outreach to scheduling demos, collaborating on account strategy, and ensuring seamless handoff to Account Executives — while maintaining rigorous data hygiene in Salesforce and continuously deepening your expertise in Peek’s product suite, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
  • Peek is a remote-first, mission-driven technology company recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Best Startup Employers and by Built In as a 2025 and 2026 Best Place to Work, operating with a global team of ‘Peeksters’ who embody the values of obsessing over customers, accomplishing big things, collaborating with purpose, and getting better every day — backed by over $150M in funding from top-tier investors including Westcap, Goldman Sachs, and SpringCoast Partners.
  • You will master complex B2B sales methodologies, refine your consultative selling and negotiation skills, and gain hands-on experience selling innovative SaaS solutions to sophisticated cultural and entertainment institutions — positioning yourself for accelerated career growth into senior sales, account management, or sales leadership roles within a high-growth, innovative tech environment.
  • Prospect and qualify new leads from activity operators, museums, attractions, and tour companies using targeted outreach strategies, including cold calling, email sequencing, and LinkedIn engagement, to build a robust pipeline of mid-market opportunities.
  • Schedule and coordinate high-value discovery calls and product demonstrations between prospects and Account Executives, ensuring alignment on client needs and internal readiness for successful engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with the Mid-Market sales team on account planning, demand generation campaigns, and performance analysis, contributing insights to refine targeting, messaging, and go-to-market strategies while balancing individual quotas with team objectives.
  • Maintain impeccable data accuracy in Salesforce by logging all activities, updating opportunity stages, tracking interactions, and ensuring clean, actionable records that support forecasting and reporting.
  • Develop deep product fluency across Peek’s platform — including booking engines, dynamic pricing, guest management, and analytics tools — to confidently articulate value propositions and tailor solutions to specific merchant pain points.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and stay current on industry trends in the experiences sector to anticipate customer needs and position Peek as the preferred partner over alternatives.
  • Deliver customized product demonstrations and consultative presentations that challenge conventional thinking, helping prospects reimagine their operations, revenue streams, and guest experiences through Peek’s technology.
  • Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing prospects and nurture long-term relationships through consistent, value-driven follow-up.
  • Handle inbound leads that fall below traditional AE thresholds by qualifying, demoing, and closing them independently, demonstrating initiative and sales agility.
  • Complete all administrative tasks — including call logging, report generation, and follow-up scheduling — with meticulous attention to detail and consistent adherence to process.
  • Rapidly absorb and apply complex technical and business concepts through self-directed learning, peer collaboration, and training resources to become a trusted advisor to prospects.

🎯 Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative or in a similar outbound sales role, with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, specifically Salesforce, including logging activities, managing pipelines, and generating reports.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and persuasively to non-technical stakeholders in the experiences and hospitality industries.
  • Experience selling in the U.S. market is preferred, with familiarity in B2B SaaS sales cycles and consultative selling methodologies.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented individual who thrives under pressure, embraces competitive goals, and demonstrates resilience in the face of rejection or slow sales cycles.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a remote, team-oriented environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to achieve both individual and collective objectives.

🏖️ Benefits

  • Fully remote work flexibility with the autonomy to structure your day for peak productivity, supported by a global team across time zones.
  • Access to comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans, plus mental health resources and wellness stipends to support holistic well-being.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) policy, company holidays, and flexible leave options to encourage rest, recharge, and work-life harmony.
  • Professional development stipend for sales training, certifications, conferences, or courses — including access to LinkedIn Learning and industry-specific programs.
  • Equity participation through stock options, allowing you to share in Peek’s long-term success as the company scales.
  • Regular team virtual events, peer recognition programs, and opportunities to engage with company leadership — fostering connection and belonging in a distributed culture.
