ďż˝ Description

  • • Own the heartbeat of Hostinger’s global infrastructure. You will be the engineer who keeps 12 data centers humming across four continents, ensuring that 3 million customers never experience a hiccup. From the moment a new bare-metal server lands on the loading dock to the second it starts serving production traffic, you are the orchestrator of every step.
  • • Provision and kickstart hundreds of Linux servers every month using Debian and Red Hat. You will write and refine PXE/kickstart workflows, validate RAID configurations, and automate post-install hardening so that every box is production-ready in minutes, not hours.
  • • Manage the full hardware lifecycle: initial burn-in, firmware upgrades, performance validation, decommissioning, and environmentally responsible disposal. You will keep meticulous asset records, forecast capacity 6–12 months ahead, and negotiate just-in-time spare-part deliveries so that critical upgrades never stall.
  • • Be the bridge between remote data-center “hands” and our Vilnius/Kaunas engineering hub. You will author crystal-clear work orders, review photos and telemetry, and—when needed—jump on-site to rack, cable, and label gear yourself. Your cable-management standards become the template that every tech follows.
  • • Design and test next-generation server architectures. Whether we are evaluating AMD EPYC vs. Intel Xeon, NVMe-oF topologies, or custom water-cooling loops, you will benchmark, document, and present findings that directly influence purchasing decisions worth hundreds of thousands of euros.
  • • Automate everything that can be automated. You will extend our Ansible playbooks, craft Bash/Python utilities, and integrate with NetBox and Prometheus so that routine tasks—BIOS updates, SSD replacements, DIMM reseats—are triggered by a single Slack slash-command.
  • • Monitor, alert, and chase every hardware anomaly until root cause is found. You will dig into IPMI logs, SMART data, and kernel traces, then feed lessons learned back into firmware baselines and procurement specs to prevent recurrence.
  • • Champion SLO compliance. You will translate product-level objectives (e.g., 99.9 % disk-rebuild completion within four hours) into measurable hardware KPIs, build dashboards, and run quarterly chaos drills to prove we can hit them—even during a full rack outage.
  • • Collaborate daily with Network, SRE, and Product teams. When a new caching tier needs 200 high-IOPS nodes in Singapore next week, you will size, quote, stage, and ship—turning a vague requirement into a live service before the sprint ends.
  • • Leave the infrastructure—and yourself—better every day. You will run blameless post-mortems, mentor junior techs, and propose innovative improvements that reduce power draw, increase density, or cut deployment time by another 10 %.

ďż˝ Requirements

  • • 2+ years of hands-on Linux administration (Debian/Red Hat) in a 24/7 production environment
  • • Proven experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining rack-mount server hardware (Dell, HPE, or Supermicro) including RAID, NIC, and BIOS configuration
  • • Familiarity with data-center operations: rack & stack, structured cabling, power, and cooling best practices
  • • Basic understanding of data-center networking—L2/L3 topologies, VLANs, Spine-Leaf architecture—and ability to read port maps and cabling diagrams
  • • Fluent in Lithuanian and English (written and spoken) for clear technical documentation and vendor communication
  • • Nice-to-have: Ansible or other automation tooling, scripting in Bash/Python, experience with IPMI/Redfish, inventory systems such as NetBox or Snipe-IT

️ Benefits

  • • Gross salary starting at 3 300 EUR/month, reviewed individually based on experience and impact
  • • Stock options program—own a piece of Hostinger’s continued global growth
  • • Unlimited learning budget: Manager’s Academy, CoachHub, Reforge, Scribd, and invites to top-tier tech conferences
  • • Flexible working hours and hybrid model with modern offices in Vilnius and Kaunas plus quarterly “workation” OKR parties
  • • Private health insurance and wellness package to keep you and your family covered
