• • In this role, you will contribute to the development of a cutting-edge mobility platform designed to revolutionize the transportation industry. This platform aims to empower operators with efficient vehicle and driver management, provide regulators with essential information and oversight, enable service providers to deliver sustainable solutions, and offer riders a seamless transit experience.
• • Your primary responsibility will be back-end development, leveraging your expertise in Ruby on Rails to build robust and scalable features. You will work extensively with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS, and manage relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• • A key aspect of your role will involve designing and implementing RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless communication between different system components and external services. You will also be responsible for integrating with dispatch systems of taxi service providers and other third-party services, requiring a strong understanding of API interactions and data exchange protocols.
• • You will play an integral part in the asynchronous processing of tasks, utilizing message queuing systems like RabbitMQ to ensure efficient and reliable background job execution. This involves designing and maintaining systems that handle delayed or resource-intensive operations without impacting the user experience.
