- • Serve as the Middle SEO Specialist for Botan, a plant identification and care website targeting the US and other English-speaking markets, driving organic traffic growth through strategic SEO execution.
- • Collect, analyze, and cluster semantic kernels for commercial and content pages to inform content strategy and keyword targeting.
- • Prepare detailed SEO briefs for content teams covering commercial pages, blog articles, and programmatic landing pages with clear SEO directives.
- • Design and implement programmatic SEO page templates to scale content efficiently while maintaining quality and search visibility.
- • Create technical SEO specifications for development and design teams, ensuring alignment with search engine requirements and user experience best practices.
- • Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits of the website to identify crawl errors, indexing issues, site structure flaws, and performance bottlenecks.
- • Monitor site indexing, crawlability, and technical health using tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and GA4 to maintain optimal search engine visibility.
- • Develop and manage anchor text plans, oversee link-building campaigns, and identify high-impact opportunities to strengthen domain authority.
- • Analyze competitor SEO strategies to uncover untapped opportunities for organic traffic growth and content differentiation.
- • Validate SEO implementation post-release by reviewing page structure, metadata, internal linking, and schema markup for accuracy and completeness.
- • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, content, and link-building specialists to ensure seamless execution of SEO initiatives.
- • Prioritize tasks based on potential impact and resource requirements, maintaining a systematic approach to managing multiple SEO projects simultaneously.
- • Maintain high attention to detail in all deliverables, ensuring consistency in SEO standards across thousands of pages and dynamic content types.
- • Work independently to own SEO outcomes, proactively identifying issues and driving solutions without constant oversight.
- • Communicate effectively in English to interpret and execute SEO strategies based on English-language keyword data and content requirements.
- • Apply foundational HTML knowledge to troubleshoot and advise on front-end SEO elements such as tags, structured data, and page rendering.
- • Adapt quickly to a fast-paced, high-growth environment where SEO processes are continuously evolving to support exponential business growth.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2.5+ years of experience as an SEO Specialist
- • Strong proficiency in technical SEO, including crawlability, indexing, site architecture, and JavaScript SEO
- • Proven experience in semantic keyword research and clustering for commercial and content pages
- • Hands-on experience creating SEO briefs for content, development, and design teams
- • Proficiency with SEO tools: Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush, Serpstat, Screaming Frog
- • Basic understanding of HTML
- • English language proficiency at B1+ level for working with English-language content and keyword data
- • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and take ownership of results
- • Strong attention to detail and systematic approach to workflow
- • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
